Flavored Water: 3 Ways

We rarely post drink recipes so I am really excited to share this one with you for three reasons. One, it tastes great. Two, it is super easy to make. Three, it is healthy. Have you ever gone to a spa that serves cucumber water? I hate plain water but I love the cucumber water you get from spas. I try not to drink pop or juice but since I hate water, sometimes I end up drinking nothing for a day or more. When I do drink water I flavor it with those little Propel packets. I don’t know why it never occurred to me until recently to make my own flavored water at home. I’m slow, what can I say?

So, as I have mentioned recently I am trying to lose some weight and eat healthier. More fish and vegetables, less cake and ice cream. And I am drinking more water. It is still a struggle for me but this flavored water has made it a lot easier. On Sundays I usually make a pitcher of flavored water and then refill it with more water each day.  I use the same fruit for a few days. Then I start over with a new combination.  Not only is it healthy but it is very refreshing too. Perfect for these 90 degree days.

  1. Yes! So pretty. And I hate plain water. I do. I really do. Although I do have a weak spot for Smart Water. :)
