Biscoff Pretzel Bites
A couple of weeks ago we posted these Gooey Biscoff Cake Bars. This was my introduction to the world of Biscoff. There’s no turning back. They were indescribably great. Then, more recently, we tried these Biscoff Pretzel Bites. Now I’m convinced that anything paired with Biscoff will knock my socks off.
Pizza Sauce
Yesterday Kelly shared our recipe for calzones, today I pizza sauce for you. I have to admit I have just recently started to make my own pizza sauce. I would die before I’d use a jar of “spaghetti sauce” so I don’t know why I thought it was ok to use jarred pizza sauce. There is really no justification, no excuses for not making my own sauce. It is as easy as can be. No more jarred or canned pizza sauce for me!

Veggie Calzones
This is not the first time we’ve made Calzones before, but it is the first time we’ve blogged about it. For anybody who doesn’t already know, Calzones are essentially a pizza folded in half. They’re totally rustic and…sinking your teeth into a Calzone hot out of the oven is pretty glorious. I’m imagining right now how amazing they’d be fresh from a wood-burning brick oven, like the restaurants in Italy, but that house project has not started yet. Hint hint!!

French Onion Dip Stuffed Mushrooms
One of my most favorite guilty pleasures in the whole world is pan fried onion dip. I just love it!! I don’t allow myself to make it more that 2 times per year. It is too dangerous! For me a perfect Sunday afternoon is watching the Bears game and eating pan fried onion dip on the couch with my husband. I of course will be wearing an oversized t-shirt and stretchy pants. Doesn’t hurt when the Bears win either!!

Portillo’s Chopped Salad
When my Mom hosts holidays or family parties she usually leaves me in charge of preparing the salad. Admittedly, I do make a mean salad, but how many variations of lettuce and dressing can one actually come up with? Luckily I can come up with a lot!
