Summertime means fun drinks if you ask me. When I saw this recipe in June’s issue of Food Network Magazine Kara and I both agreed it would be fun to try out. Even better, it’s ridiculously easy. So are you ready for a recipe that takes all of 30 seconds to prepare?
Watermelon Lemonade
We need to buy those umbrellas that go in fun drinks at Mexican restaurants. I think that’s the finishing touch missing from our Watermelon Lemonade. Well that and alcohol. And maybe a beach.
Chocolate Cake Shake
I’d say sorry for posting such a sinful recipe…but really I’m not sorry. Not even a little bit. It’s just too good!
Green Tea Citrus Smoothie
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I hope you all enjoyed your weekends. My family and I made a delicious St. Patty’s feast complete with corned beef, carrots, potatoes, cabbage and Irish soda bread. Yum! So I am still thinking green and still in the holiday spirit. We have one more green recipe for you before we say goodbye to shamrocks and hello to bunnies!
Beet and Blood Orange Smoothie
A friend from work has gotten me completely hooked on smoothies/juices with veggies. And not just the standard spinach or kale. I mean beets!! Beets beets beets! Anytime I can go to a restaurant where freshly squeezed juice with carrot or beets is available, I am going to order it. What better way to get veggies in your diet than to drink them in something that tastes sweet? It’s genius!
