Biscoff Pretzel Bites
A couple of weeks ago we posted these Gooey Biscoff Cake Bars. This was my introduction to the world of Biscoff. There’s no turning back. They were indescribably great. Then, more recently, we tried these Biscoff Pretzel Bites. Now I’m convinced that anything paired with Biscoff will knock my socks off.
Churros
In case anyone has been wondering, we are taking a little blog break the next couple months. Don’t worry though, we aren’t quitting completely! We are just posting 4 days a week instead of 5. Hopefully, we can pick it back up again in a few months. Cliff and I have moved twice in the past 3 months. We are finally living in our new house but I am incapable of just moving in. I have to repaint every wall and re-do all the floors. I just can’t help it! Plus, we have been busy with our new hobby, gardening. I have always dreamed of having a huge garden. Now that I have a backyard, I can finally plant my garden. Cliff and I built an 18-foot x 3-foot raised bed this week, so now we just need some plants. If you have any tips please let me know!
Gooey Biscoff Cake Bars
I think I’m more excited about this particular recipe than any other recipe I’ve seen or tried for a long time. Kara texted me a week or so ago and said that she bought a jar of Biscoff Spread. This alone was huge news! We had been looking for Biscoff for ages! I’ve seen the cookies, but never the spread!

Marbled Strawberry Shortcake
A few weeks ago Kelly and I were discussing which recipes we wanted to tackle next. We decided to make some type of strawberry shortcake. But we knew we needed to make it different. I wanted to add chocolate in some way and Kelly wanted to make it into a trifle. So we decided to merge our ideas and make a marbled strawberry trifle.
Caramel Fudge Brownies
I think I was in about 1st grade the first time I had these brownies. One of my friends, who will remain nameless, always made them. It was her thing, and she didn’t want to give away the secret recipe. Even in 1st grade I was trying to get people to give me their secret recipes. She made these things for years and she would never give me the recipe! She and I kind of lost touch over the years but a few years back I saw her at a bridal shower. You might think I would ask her how she was, or what she was doing, or something along those lines. But no, I immediately asked if she was ready to give up that recipe. She laughed and said, of course I’ll e-mail it to you! And she told me the super secret ingredient was German chocolate cake mix. You know what? She never did e-mail me the recipe, but she did give me a hint and I was able to find the recipe pretty easily after that.
