Biscoff Pretzel Bites
A couple of weeks ago we posted these Gooey Biscoff Cake Bars. This was my introduction to the world of Biscoff. There’s no turning back. They were indescribably great. Then, more recently, we tried these Biscoff Pretzel Bites. Now I’m convinced that anything paired with Biscoff will knock my socks off.
Pretzel and Peanut Butter M&M Cookies
Let me tell you about the evolution of these pretzel and peanut butter M&M cookies. It all started just before Valentine’s Day when I was wandering around target. Some people think facebook and pinterest are time sucks, but I think Target is the worst of all. Anyway, I found myself in the seasonal/holiday aisle. I found Valentine’s Day peanut butter M&M’s and I knew I had to make cookies with them. But you know what happened, right? I ate the whole bag before I made cookies. Fast forward a few weeks and I found Easter pretzel M&M’s. Again, I knew I needed to make cookies. And again, you know what happened. The bag got eaten before the cookies could be made. Story of my life. Thankfully, the third time is the charm. I couldn’t decide if I should make peanut butter M&M cookies or pretzel M&M cookies. I decided to merge the two together and do peanut butter M&M’s with pretzels. Now that I think about it peanut butter cookies with pretzel M&M’s would be good too. I guess I’ll be making another trip to target tomorrow…

Chocolate Chip Pizookie
If you didn’t fall off the diet wagon with our cream puffs you will with this pizookie. Years and years ago when we were in California visiting friends we went to BJ’s and had pizza and pizookie. It left quite an impression on me. And when I say it was years ago, I was probably in high school. I’ve pretty much been obsessed with pizookie ever since. They also have pizookie at my favorite Chicago pizza place, Lou Malnati’s. But every time we go there I fill up on pizza and I never order the pizookie. In October, we went to our friends wedding in Las Vegas. These were the same friends that took us to BJ’s in California. For the rehearsal dinner we went to BJ’s for pizza. On the way there I said to my family, I hope we get pizookie! And we did! Each table got a huge pizookie. It was about 14 inches in diameter. Each pizookie had 4 flavors. Chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamia, Oreo, and then there was a fourth one. I couldn’t quite tell what flavor the fourth one was, so I enlisted Kelly to try it. She said it was butterscotch, so I gave it a try. I was like, yep butterscotch. It was good, but I really loved the Oreo and chocolate chip ones. Then the bride came to the table and asked if we had tried the red velvet pizookie. Red velvet? We thought it was butterscotch! Anyway, I thought it was funny. How do you confuse butterscotch and red velvet?
Oreo Pizookie
This Pizookie recipe is one we’ve been wanting to post for a longggg time, probably since we first started our blog. We first had it years ago at a restaurant in California called BJ’s and we never forgot about it! Having it again at Amanda and Kyle’s wedding in Las Vegas was the push we needed to recreate it.

Holly Cookies
Every Christmas we go to my Aunt Connie’s house for a huge Christmas feast. Lots of family and LOTS of food! She’s the one who helped us with our homemade ravioli post. She definitely knows her way around the kitchen. Anyways, Christmas Eve is at my parents house, so by Christmas day we’ve been gorging for 2 days and our stomachs have expanded nicely. Bring on the cookies. Aunt Connie makes TONS of Italian cookies each Christmas, and although I doubt these are Italian…they are my absolute favorite! I think I eat every Holly Cookie she makes every single year. She makes another kind that I also really love. I’ll find out what it’s called and maybe we’ll post it next year, if she gives us the recipe! I don’t even know what’s in it…I think orange zest?? I have no idea, but they’re my second favorite Christmas Day cookie.
