Did everybody have a good Halloween? I don’t get trick-or-treaters in my building so I didn’t buy any candy, but I really wish I had once the chocolate craving hit last night as I was watching the most Halloween-esque movie we have…Casper. Just one fun size Kit Kat bar would have been nice. Ok, king size.
Spooky Snack Mix
I don’t know about you, but I am always looking for snacky food. Laying on the couch watching House Hunters; where’s the pretzels? Watching a movie; where’s the popcorn? On a road trip? Pass the Reese’s Pieces, please. My life is pretty much consumed with what I am going to snack on next. Sad, but true. What am I going to have for a snack, what is for dinner, what is for dessert? These are the big questions on my mind all day, everyday. You would think that I was starved as a child or something. I am always thinking of my next meal.
Easter Bunny Munch
I love Easter candy. Really I love all candy, but I think the best stuff comes out around Easter time. Peeps, jelly beans and Cadbury Creme Eggs…you name it, I like it! I know many people do not like black jelly beans, but those are my favorite. In fact, I only eat black and pink jelly beans. I also love snacking, so making this Easter Bunny Munch just seemed natural to me.

Peppermint Bark
Word on the street is Costco carries a really amazing Peppermint Bark. Has anybody ever tried it? Kara told me they give it as samples around the holidays. (mental note!) I’ve never tried it myself, but since discovering how simple bark is and how many ways we can switch it up, we’ve been making it all the time! In fact…today we made Saltine Bark, which is almost the same as the Pretzel Bark, except with saltines. It was delish! So naturally we wanted to try and recreate Costco’s Peppermint Bark.
